Elizabeth (Liz) is a practicing bilingual speech-language pathologist with over 14 years of experience in the field. She grew up in South Texas and received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Liz founded Nido Pediatric Therapy after witnessing firsthand the gaps families face when navigating feeding challenges. From fragile infants leaving the NICU, to toddlers and young children with limited diets who needed more than a waitlist and a referral. She saw families doing everything right and still struggling to find the specialized, culturally responsive support they deserved. Nido was built to change that, and offers expert pediatric feeding and early language therapy in a space where every family, regardless of language or background, feels seen, supported, and never alone in the process.
Elizabeth (Liz) es una terapeuta de habla bilingüe con más de 14 años de experiencia. Creció en el sur de Texas y obtuvo su licenciatura y maestría en Ciencias de la Comunicación y Trastornos de la Universidad de Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Liz fundo Nido Pediatric Therapy porque vio de cerca de lo dificil que puede ser para familias a encontrar apoyo cuando hay problemas de alimentación. Desde bebés que salen de la NICU hasta niños pequeños con dietas muy limitadas que necesitaban mucho más que una lista de espera. Vio familias que lo estaban intentando con todo, y aun así no encontraban la ayuda especializada que merecían. Y para las familias que hablan español, encontrar ese apoyo era todavía más difícil. Por eso nació Nido, para ofrecer terapia pediátrica de calidad en un lugar donde cada familia, sin importar su idioma o de dónde viene, se sienta acompañada, escuchada, y nunca sola en este camino.
